Career Counseling

Discover and define your authentic voice, and bring it into the world.

My approach to career counseling is supportive and solution-focused. Together we identify the barriers you are facing and develop measurable goals on a realistic timeline. We clarify what you truly want from your career and create practical steps toward it. When indecision or anxiety arises, which is natural in times of transition, I help you evaluate options, shift unhelpful patterns of thinking, skillfully organize and tame time, and approach your career transition in a mindful and intentional way.

Work, Identity, and Your Unique Direction

I believe each person carries a unique set of capacities, values, and possibilities. What some describe as one’s “genius” lives within all of us as a natural expression of who we are and what we are here to contribute.

This realization often emerges when work no longer reflects who one is becoming.

Yet many people find themselves trying to fit a square peg into a round hole to meet perceived expectations in the workplace. Professional environments often reward adaptation to external demands at the expense of inner direction. Over time, this can create a dynamic that resembles a kind of imbalance in the relationship between employee and employer. The pressure to give more, achieve more, and conform can gradually erode one’s sense of purpose, strengths, and identity.

As this erosion deepens, self-doubt often grows. Many capable people begin to experience professional self-doubt or impostor syndrome, feeling uncertain about their abilities or direction despite clear strengths.

Together, we work to address this erosion by restoring your connection to your values, abilities, and sense of direction so your work can support your development rather than diminish it.
